I should be getting more of my photos back any day now. Still awaiting on one photographer (I'm SO excited to see her stuff!), and the other's shared with us a few teasers (Ophelia & Hazel Gaze, etc.). Still trying to remain patient, but I'm so excited! Hehe.
I've got 3 shoots already arranged for December, working on others, and some set for January, as well. One of the January bookings could be a real career-setter for me! And with the advice and so many kind, supportive words from the many great photographers I've worked with, thus far, ...I hope I can make them proud and put their advice to good use!
On the drawing side of things... I've started to TRY to work digitally, just so see what I could possibly do in that area. It's completely new to me, and slightly overwhelming, but I've had some people point things out to me, suggest things, that's made it all the easier to figure out. I only have an older version of Photoshop, and GIMP was suggested to me, so I've tried that, and I don't think it turned out too bad. My first 2 tries... Big step from blurring self-taken photos!
Now, the move. Fast approaching! I should be moving by the end of the month, if not sooner (god forbid later), and I'm so excited! I can't wait to get out of this area I've lived in the past 12 years of my life. Memories ranging from good moments, to the most horrible periods of my life. I won't miss the constant reminder of my father's untimely death and suffering. I have him deep within my heart, keep all the good close, and that's all I need. Farewell, bad dreams! And a whole new house to decorate! New furniture, closer to friends who I miss dearly, and a new batch of photographers to work with! Many I've already contacted and look forward to collaborating with.
But... I think that's it! For now, anyway. Thank all of you for supporting me. For your kind words, advice, humor and sharing your intellect. I'll do you proud! Just watch. Hehe.
